Mehmet dan Zeyneb

Watak Mehmet (perisik dan soldadu Turki) dan Zeyneb (pejuang Turki) telah aku padankan dengan pelakon Melayu.

Oleh sebab Mehmet dan Zeyneb kemudiannya bernikah dalam Musim 1 Mehmetcik Kutul Amare, aku telah meMelayukan watak Mehmet dengan pelakon Fattah Amin kerana perawakan mereka seiras.

Watak Zeyneb pula aku Melayukan dengan pelakon Fazura.

Kedua-dua mereka iaitu Mehmet dan Zeyneb cinta kepada perjuangan mempertahankan tanah air mereka daripada dijajah dan ditindas musuh.

Alangkah indah andai Fattah dan Fazura dapat digandingkan dalam sebuah filem atau drama yang berfokuskan perjuangan dan sejarah seperti Mehmetcik Kutul Amare yang berlatarkan suasana perang di Turki.

Cerita cinta yang klise seperti yang dilambakkan di media televisyen boleh dikatakan terlalu menjemukan.

Daku mendambakan sebuah cerita berfokus kepada sejarah dan perjuangan.

Mehmetcik Kutul Amare Musim 2

Daku kembali menonton Mehmetcik Kutul Amare di lelaman kayifamily.com sekali lagi.

Namun, kali ini ialah Mehmetcik Kutul Amare Musim 2 iaitu sambungan yang telah aku terlepas pandang.

Alhamdulillah, aku telah selesai menonton Mehmetcik Kutul Amare Musim 1 pada bulan Ramadhan yang baru berlalu.

Dalam Musim 2 Episod 1, Tentera Komander Ali hanya tinggal 3 orang iaitu Saeed, Sarjan Mevlut dan Komander sahaja.

Rakan-rakan seperjuangan mereka telah syahid dalam peperangan menentang musuh durjana iaitu British.

Inspiring and Impactful: Dr Romantic 2

Alhamdulillah!

The last episode is as compelling as the first episode.

I am done with all 33 episodes of Dr Romantic 2 in Viu.

An inspiring and impactful Korean drama indeed.

Thumbs up to the brilliant writer - a lady named Kang Eun Kyung for such a beautiful story or stories as well as the well-written script.

The conflicts and closure is meaningful to learn from.

The character, characterization and character arc is meaningful too, especially when one of the villain characters unexpectedly learn from his own shortcoming and eventually made a wise choice.

Unlike Flower of Evil which ended with the last episode that is not fulfilling (because the main character lost part of his memory and that part is actually the most crucial), Dr Romantic 2 ended beautifully for almost everyone except the main villain character.

The truth is the drama is enriching throughout.

If there is an award for the best drama in 2020, I would opt for Dr Romantic 2 among others.

I watched one drama with the same theme before this that is Hospital Ship (because the main character is my favorite Ha Ji Won) but in the end, I did not finish the whole series as the drama was not engaging.

Therefore, thumbs up to Dr Romantic 2 for such an inspiring and impactful masterpiece.
